Rebatch
Rebatch
AKA: ✨ Discount Bars ✨
Sometimes you want to make a beautiful lavender soap, but the soap hardens right in your pot, right before your eyes, and you can’t pour it into the mold! Even after 10 years, I still get soap that misbehaves like this.
Thankfully some soap making mistakes are very forgiving.
So what do I do when this happens? I do something called rebatching. Meaning, I melt the soap so slowly that it goes back to a pudding like consistency that I can pour back into a mold, and basically remake a whole new loaf!
The result: a perfectly imperfect rustic soap
Rebatch is made with a reclaimed blend of imperfect soaps, crafted with plant oils, butters, botanicals, essential oils and natural colorants
The Sud Sister’s soaps are made in small batches for the best quality. I aim to achieve the same look for each soap but because they are artisan made, each batch is unique from the last and colors + sizes may be slightly different. Soap bars are approximately 5oz of magic!
Because we’re all made beautifully different; sample this soap on a small patch of skin first. If irritation occurs stop it’s use immediately! For external use only.
I believe in the power of plants, but I am required by the FDA to tell you that my soaps, oils, herbs, salves, etc are not meant to treat or cure anything.
To make your soap last longer use a draining soap dish that will help avoid water pooling underneath the soap bar.
